A poem about silence

Silence is golden

Silence will leave the noise behind

Silence activates the mind

Silence is deaf where love is blind

Silence is beautiful

Silence can last an eternity

Silence will enter where noise will flee

Silence is total privacy

Silence is isolated

Silence is emptiness – nothing here

Silence is where your worst dreams appear

Silence can conjure your every fear

Silence is unnatural

Silence looms in the darkest night

Silence is the Sandman’s delight

Silence looks on as you die of fright

Silence is death

– The Spideron, 1992
